Please note that due to the amount of staff sickness due to COVID the courier system is extremely overloaded. All couriers are currently experiencing 2-5 working days delays on top of normal shipping times.

Please note that due to our workload we are unable to chase up any couriers from the dispatch end. Customers are expected to use the provided tracking details to follow up with any deliveries by contacting the couriers direct. If you do not see any tracking details in your inbox then please check your junk email as they are often filtered as spam.

By purchasing through the Soundstore.co.nz online store the customer hereby agrees to the following terms and conditions;
All purchases are covered under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to return any items with warranty issues to our Christchurch warehouse or your nearest authorized repairer. Please note goods used for commercial purposes (including schools and churches) are not covered under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act regulations.
If the fault is covered under warranty then return freight to the customer will be covered by the manufacturer. Should the goods be found not faulty then the customer may be charged an assessment fee and the freight cost from the repair agent.
Unless otherwise stated items have a 1 year warranty -
- Sennheiser and Shure headphones and microphones have a 2 year warranty,
- Rode shotgun and studio mics have a 10 year warranty upon registration.

- QSC products have a 6 year warranty

Items such as stylus and mixer crossfaders are not covered under warranty unless it is a manufacturers defect from new. Warranty cover is valid for manufacturing defects only and does not cover accidental or willful damage or wear and tear. Sealed lead acid batteries are void from warranty if left for too long in storage without proper charging. Warranty cover is not valid for any issues arising from any radio frequency issues due to changes in the Radio Spectrum NZ licensing laws or Digital TV channel allocation. 

All goods must be signed for on delivery as proof of receipt. In the event of non delivery the customer must complete a Statutory Declaration to say the goods have not been received otherwise the freight insurance is not valid and the customers is liable for the cost of the goods. Expected delivery times are 1-3 working days for most areas, for RD Rural Delivery areas and for heavier, bulky items please allow 1-2 days extra. You must contact us within 7 days of the order being placed if you do not receive the full list of goods ordered, or they arrive damaged, otherwise insurance for the goods cannot be claimed and the customer will be held liable for any loss or damage of the goods. It is the responsibility of the customer to check all goods are the correct items on delivery and notify us within 7 days.

If you are not satisfied with the product or it arrives faulty or damaged then please notify us immediately and we'll discuss how you can ship it back to us and then we'll exchange it for something else more suitable. Extra freight charges may apply depending on the exact freight cost of the original goods.
(exchange only possible if goods returned within 7 days, a 20% restocking fee (min $25) may be charged to cover admin costs and devaluation of goods if they are not able to be resold as new. Cash refunds only available on faulty goods if returned within 28 days. Software or items containing software that have been opened are not covered under this return policy. For health reasons we cannot accept returns on headphones or microphones for any reason if the courier packaging is opened.)

Some errors and omissions are expected. Prices subject to change without notice, and are subject to availability. Due to current fluctuations in the US$ exchange rate some items may increase in price without notice and may not be available at the screen price due to delays in pricing and stock list updates. All credit card payments are taken as a pre-authorisation which means the money never actually leaves your card issuing bank, the money is simply reserved for the sale. The transaction is only finalised and payment taken once stock has been checked and is ready for dispatch. If the goods are not able to be supplied then the pre-authorisation will be voided and your card balance should return to normal within a short time.

All speakers are sold as single unit unless it specifically says in the item description and title that it is per pair.

The title of all goods delivered to the customer does not pass to the purchaser until payment in full has been received by Soundstore Ltd.
Soundstore Ltd shall have the right to repossess all such goods which remain the property of Soundstore Ltd in the possession or under the control of the purchaser and for this purpose to enter any premises where the same may be found and sever and remove and carry away the same.

All invoices that remain unpaid after the 20th of the month following invoice date shall be subject to a finance charge of 5% (or $25 whichever is greater) per month until invoice is paid in full. Soundstore reserve the right to pass any overdue invoices to a collection agency of their choice, the customer will be liable for any fees imposed by this collection agency.

Due to the large variations in PC and Mac hardware and software all support for any packaged software must be referred back to the original software manufacturer. Soundstore takes no responsibility for the compatibility or performance of any free packaged software sold with any device.
Our return policy excludes any product with software that has been opened or registered by the customer.

Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy online. Any and all information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential. At no time will your information be sold, reused, or disclosed to third parties.

Your personal details, purchasing history or any other information relating to your interaction with Soundstore.co.nz will not be sold, traded or any in any way be made available to any other party for any purpose whatsoever, with the exception of repair agents and/or courier companies when applicable.

We will only release account and other personal information if we believe release is required by law; ie to facilitate court proceedings; enforce or apply our terms and conditions; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Soundstore.co.nz, our users, or its users.

It is the policy of Soundstore.co.nz to send our clients emails throughout the purchasing process and other Newsletter emails if they have elected to receive them. It is our policy to immediately remove any client from any mailing list upon the client’s request.
